Self-esteem – confidence in one's own worth or abilities; self-respect.

a person's overall subjective emotional evaluation of his or her own worth. It
is a judgment of oneself as well as an attitude toward the self. Self-esteem
encompasses beliefs (for example, "I am competent", "I am
worthy") and emotions such as triumph, despair, pride, and shame.(source Wikipedia.org)
Having a good self-esteem, you feel secure and worthwhile. You have generally positive
relationships with others and feel confident about your abilities. You're also
open to learning and feedback, which can help you acquire and master new skills.
Having a good self-esteem
can affect your daily lives as well as your health. Like which you will feel
more progressive, less stress, and passionate. Self-esteem tend to
affect your Career as well, having a good confidence leads better Career.

How to Improve self-esteem?
Here’s a list of tips on
how you can improve your self – esteem so that you get a better chance to have
a good career.
1 Learn to accept yourself-
Accepting your fault, or the mistakes you’ve
done can improve self-esteem or confidence, by learning through it you gain experienced
and by experience you will know what to do the next time you have those
challenges. Applying it to your daily activities even in search for a job
will have a good effect in positive way.
2 Dress no stress –
Wearing un-comfortable dress can lead to stress
that affects your self-esteem confidence, and It can ruin your whole day just
by wearing wrong dress. Like what we discuss in our last blog about how to groom your-self properly, dress in appropriate especially when applying and wear
comfortable professional dress so that you we feel special and tend to have
higher chance than your competitors.
3 Say hello to
yourself –
It may sound crazy, but study shown that
talking to your-self can dramatically improve your self-esteem, through
it you can assess what you’ve done the whole day, whole week, and what you can
do to improve it. And if you achieved job well done or you finish, or pass some
challenges, just congratulate your-self and give your-self a little treat if you
have some extra.
4 Plan ahead –
Planning ahead is a key to success and boost
your self-esteem. Even if you don’t know whether you can do it or not, planning
ahead can give you guide of your everyday course and activities, planning ahead
includes scheduling things that you will do, so that every step you make is
according to your plan and you know that you have to achieved it.
5 Always think success

Thinking success can help you get through
everyday challenges, by which you tend to have a positive mind and body, having
physically and mentally positive can lessen your stress, and lesser stress
leads to better thinking and understanding things in front of your way so that
you can detour your-self to best way to achieve your goals.
6 List your Goals –
Setting up goals can help your self-esteem a
lot, because setting up goals is not just about achieving. It will also give’s
inspiration through your daily life that leads you to think that if I achieved
this goal, I will have this reward.
However
if you didn’t achieved your goal, try another one and if you still didn’t
achieved it try and try, but if you didn’t achieved it again the third time, it
means you have to move on and set a different path of goals.
7 Step-by-step –
Like in no. 1, 4, 5, and 6, you have to include
step-by-step procedure. As you can observe big companies, hospitals,
application for passport, driving, license etc…
As you can see every-one of those things
that I mention have a step by step procedure that needs to follow, in same manner
you have to have step-by-step procedure applied to your Goals, Success,
Plans, by having steps you will have to start from low to high, to be able
to achieve those certain things that you wanted in your life.
8 Tracker List –
Tracker
list is all about your daily activities, it is a paper, that consist of your
daily plans or you can call it as no. 7 said step-by-step procedure. Just
do this little advice, try to grab a paper every night before you sleep, list
down at least 3 to 5 things that you need to achieved the next day like simple
stuff, example I have to finish my laundries tomorrow and after that I need to
clean the toilet and after that I need to go to market to by ingredients for
our dinner lunch or whatever occasion it is. What I was trying to say is if you
achieved those little things you’ll get happy that day, and as I always say a
happy mind and body can lead to success.
9 Don’t get over
confident –
Doing no’s. 1 to 8 can have you a good and
positive self-esteem in that so, just don’t get to cocky or don’t make over
satisfied or over confidence in short, just make sure that your always on the
middle, or your always balance. Because having an over confident attitude can
lead to a bad manner which can cause
negative effect in your daily life.
